Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Driver License Offices (DLOs) across the state are currently closed due to a technical issue. Customers with appointments should have been notified of the closure.
Our IT teams are working diligently on a fix to the issue, however there is no current estimate on when Driver License Offices will be able to reopen. Please monitor DPS’ social media and the DPS website for updates.
This is part of a world wide tech issue that has effected health, airlines, banks and healthcare as well.
