Texarkana ISD student Anthony Price was awarded the TCMA Artist Scholarship at the 2024 Texas Country Music Awards on November 10 at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth. The scholarship, presented by the Texas Country Music Association, supports young country artists.
The award includes the recording, mixing, and mastering of a single at Mauldin Productions and Flying J Records, distribution through American Airplay, and radio promotion from G289 Productions.
“I’m honored to receive this scholarship,” said Price. “Meeting country music legends like Moe Bandy, Jake Hooker, and Landon Dodd made the experience unforgettable.”
The scholarship aims to launch promising talent in the Texas country music scene.
