Over 1400 people participated in Saturday’s Tough Kookie Race, raising over $127,000 to fight breast cancer in the Ark-La-Tex. The Tough Kookie Foundation has helped over 1000 cancer patients in the last three years. 100 year old Thelma Fletcher, who has defeated cancer twice, was honored as Survivor of the Year Saturday at Texas A&M Texarkana.
