The Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) graduates of the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT) Texarkana campus, Class of 2023, have achieved a 100% pass rate on their first attempt at the NCLEX board exam. This is a significant achievement compared to the national average pass rate of 89.82%.
Jessica Schroader, Director of the LPN program at UAHT, attributes this success to the high-quality instruction provided by the faculty. “Our faculty are dedicated to preparing students to excel, both academically and clinically,” Schroader said. “We are proud of our students’ hard work and their ability to meet the high standards we set.”
The LPN program at UAHT is a full-time, 11-month program that leads to a Technical Certificate in Practical Nursing. It is accredited by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing and prepares students for the NCLEX-PN exam.
Applications for the next cohort of the LPN program will open on September 1, 2024, and close on November 1, 2024. For more information, interested candidates can contact the Health Professions Department at UAHT at 870-722-8289.
