The stalled Wadley Regional Medical Campus construction project is soon to be up and going again in Texarkana.
A representative from Robins & Morton, the primary contractor for the project, could not disclose specifics, but confirmed that a new agreement has been reached with Medical Properties Trust to continue construction on the building. Originally slated for completion in 2025, the hospital’s timeline faces adjustments as the site gears up for remobilization, involving reinstating material orders and rearranging schedules for trade contractors to recommence work. Wadley Regional, is under the ownership of Steward Health Care, and has declined to comment on the matter.
